St. Pete

WHERE TO STAY- The Vinoy

This stunning hotel is a historic gem on St Petersburg’s downtown waterfront. It blends historic charm and a rich past with modern luxuries and amenities. You can enjoy a variety of resort activities including a spa and pool, golf courses, a tennis complex, coffee shop, multiple indoor and outdoor restaurants, and laundry facilities. Just pop out the front door and you can take a walk in the park along the bay, or turn right into the heart of downtown St. Pete where there are so many great restaurants, shops, and museums. The Vinoy is only a few blocks from Dr. Piper's office, and a couple of miles from the hospital. It was the best place for me to recover and for my family to enjoy themselves (as much as they could). The resort really has everything you need!

Book the Tower Spa Guest Room. It is large and has two Queen Beds, a Sitting Area with pullout sofa and two chairs, a Desk area and an Outdoor Balcony with chairs. It also has a bar sink and medium fridge/freezer. Since we were three people, we also got the adjoining King Room. This was perfect, as it enabled everyone to have their own space.
